About the Artist

Find out more about Ken Roberts' past, experience as a managing director and international success as a landscape, figurative and portrait painter

Ken studied print at Stowe College and graphic design at Glasgow School of Art. He was founder and managing director of a prestigious and successful graphic communications group for 25 years.

Twice a featured Landscape Prize Winner in the International Artist Magazine, Ken has gained acclaim throughout Scotland and beyond.

He has exhibited in galleries throughout Scotland, at events such as The Pittenweem Arts Festival; Ardshiel Gallery in Arran; The Byre Theatre Gallery, St Andrews; St Andrews Preservation Trust Museum; and a sell out exhibition at his own Hillcrest Studio Gallery. Ken's paintings are in many private collections in the UK.

Now a resident of St. Andrews, Ken specialises in Fife landscapes, where the unique light influences the colours and patterns of the undulating countryside and the dramatically quaint villages of the East Neuk. Ken also does some figurative work and portraits by commission.
